What is the central idea of your concentration?

The central idea of my concentration is focusing on the details in the older architecture of France. I feel that there is a lot more detail in older architecture than there is now in newer architecture around the world. They spent more time on the buildings even though the technology was not nearly as advanced. There was not the ‘cookie cutter’ buildings which most styles of buildings follow now since the 1950’s. I also like the stone that was used to make the buildings. I wanted to be able to show the wear that was put on the buildings over time and the stains that were left.
